Nine fields, one terrain

SAED-SARL (Société Africaine d'Études pour le Développement) is a private engineering consultancy. Its engineers, technicians and associate experts work mainly on rural development projects. They have completed 162 assignments in Mali and neighbouring countries, 9 countries in all.

  1. Civil works: roads and buildingsWe design road links and buildings, then supervise their construction.
  2. Land-use planningWe plan the development of whole areas where several kinds of infrastructure have to fit together.
  3. Urban and industrial water engineeringWater supply, sanitation and drainage in towns: we prepare the studies and supervise the works.
  4. Village and pastoral water supplyBoreholes, wells, piped water and ponds: we site the works, prepare the documents and supervise the contractors.
  5. Irrigation and lowland developmentLowlands, floodplains, irrigated schemes and dams: we carry out the studies, then supervise the works.
  6. Rural infrastructureRural roads, river crossings, livestock and storage buildings: we design them and supervise their construction.
  7. Urban developmentStreets, site servicing and social housing: we design urban schemes and supervise their construction.
  8. Training and awareness-raising for rural communitiesWe raise awareness and train rural communities, and we support the people who will use the infrastructure.
