SAED-SARL (Société Africaine d'Études pour le Développement) is a private engineering consultancy, set up as a limited liability company in Bamako in 1999. Its engineers and technicians prepare infrastructure projects and act as project engineer, including environmental and social impact assessment.
The firm has long experience of rural infrastructure: rural roads, irrigation, pastoral and fisheries schemes, market gardens, boreholes, markets, processing units and buildings.
Its experts have completed many assignments for rural development projects, in Mali and in other countries of the region.

Organisation
The General Management works through two departments: the Technical Department and the Administration and Finance Department. Both draw on the engineers and project officers, the survey teams, the pool of site supervisors and the support staff. The Administration and Finance Department also handles accounting and administrative affairs.
